We encourage participants from the six eligible regions to take this opportunity to submit their applications and present innovative solutions that contribute to the transition towards a circular economy.

SUMMARY
OF THE CALL

Riv Circular
RIVCircular supports innovation within its participating regions through Financial Support for Third Parties (FSTP) to help regional stakeholders develop innovative solutions to overcome technological barriers to scaling up.
 
The call considers these five topics:

Construction and demolition waste (CDW) circularity (see topic description in annex 1 of Guideline for applicants)

2

Circular Energy Integration: Valorising local waste streams for industrial efficiency (see topic description in annex 2 of Guideline for applicants)

3

Electric vehicles (EV) batteries recycling and reuse (see topic description in annex 3 of Guideline for applicants)

4

Circular economy in the textile industry (see topic description in annex 4 of Guideline for applicants)

5

Digital solutions for circular economy (see topic description in annex 5 of Guideline for applicants)

Funded projects should focus on the development and/or deployment of technologies in the circular economy area, including breakthrough and disruptive innovations, through cooperation between actors from the (six) 6 participating regions: Brandemburg (Germany), Innlandet (Norway), Madrid (Spain), Kosiçe (Slovakia), Kyiv-Oblast (Ukraine), Haut-de-France (France).
Funded projects should propose activities to establish new knowledge or to explore the feasibility of a new or improved technology, product, process, system, service or solution. This may include applied research, technology development and integration, testing, prototyping, demonstration and validation of a small-scale prototype in a laboratory or simulated environment and market replication.

Start by carefully reading the official Guideline for applicants to ensure your entity is eligible and your project aligns with one of the topics.

This is important to ensure clarity, consistency, and efficiency in the writing process. Templates provide a clear structure, ensuring that all essential sections, such as objectives, budget, and timeline, are included, so it saves time to know the specific requirements of the call before start the design of the proposal.  

Including:
  • Administrative data sheet (Form A) – filling properly all sections.
  • Technical Description (Form B) – filling properly all sections
  • Budget. Use the template available.
Send your application, before the deadline indicated above, through the ‘submit’ button, where you will have to complete your data and attach the 3 mandatory documents (Form A and Form B in PDF format, and the budget in Excel format).

Only one submission per consortium will be accepted. The submission must be sent by the consortium coordinator.
