Cooperation is the key to innovate in circular economy
Five key
priorities
The RIVCircular project promotes collaboration in the field of circular economy, aligning with the new European Innovation Agenda. Its goal is to strengthen European innovation ecosystems by bringing value to the participating regions and contributing to a more sustainable future through five key strategic areas:
Construction and DemolitionWaste (CDW) circularity
Waste– Resource and energy recapture
Electric Vehicle (EV) batteries recycling and reuse
Digitization and circular economy
Circular economy in the textile industry
How does
the Project work
The RIVCircular consortium will develop three types of activities
An open call will be launched under the cascade funding format (Financial Support to Third Parties) targeting five sectors within the framework of the five key priorities defined. This initiative will promote interregional innovation through the integration of deep tech solutions.
Collaborative activities
Initiatives aimed at strengthening connections and cooperation among participating regions by identifying market-access barriers and enablers in specific fields of circular economy.
Building skills for a Circular Economy
Empowering the workforce with new competencies to drive sustainable innovation and growth. These efforts will focus on addressing real knowledge gaps and developing the skills needed for capacity building.
Meet
