RIVCircular highlighted during the Enterprise Europe Network Sustainability Thematic Group meeting

The RIVCircular project was highlighted this week during the Enterprise Europe Network Sustainability Thematic Group meeting held in Helsinki.

The event brought together around 45 advisors from 20 European countries to exchange approaches and align strategies on how to better support SMEs in implementing sustainability measures, innovation practices, and circular economy solutions.

During the meeting, EEN Madrid — coordinated by the Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d — presented RIVCircular and shared key information about the project’s currently open call for companies interested in advancing circular and sustainable innovation initiatives.

The call will remain open until September 17.

RIVCircular: fostering circular innovation and interconnected European ecosystems

RIVCircular aims to accelerate the adoption of circular economy solutions by supporting SMEs, startups, and innovation ecosystem actors across Europe. The project promotes collaboration between regions, innovation, technology boost, and stakeholders working in sustainability and environmental innovation.

One of RIVCircular’s strategic objectives is to strengthen connections with European hubs, initiatives, and projects aligned with sustainability and environmental goals, while fostering collaboration between countries and innovation ecosystems across Europe.

Being presented in international forums such as the EEN Sustainability Thematic Group directly contributes to this mission by facilitating knowledge exchange, increasing the project’s European visibility, and opening new opportunities for collaboration and the sharing of best practices at European level.

Shared goals with the Enterprise Europe Network

The Sustainability Thematic Group of the Enterprise Europe Network works to support companies in integrating sustainability into their business models, improving competitiveness, and advancing towards a greener, more resilient economy.

In this context, the objectives of EEN and RIVCircular are strongly complementary. Both initiatives promote sustainable innovation, international cooperation, and support the regionals ecosystems to face the challenges of the green and circular transition.
