On 2 June 2026, the Greece Info Day brought together 67 stakeholders, demonstrating significant interest in advancing circular economy solutions. The event attracted a diverse audience representing academia, public authorities, civil society, and other key sectors.
Universities and research institutes constituted the largest stakeholder group, followed by local and regional authorities, highlighting the strong involvement of both the research community and public sector organizations.

Participants were invited to indicate their interest in three thematic areas: Construction and Demolition Waste, Circular Energy Integration, and Digital Solutions in the Circular Economy. As attendees could select more than one theme, the results provide valuable insight into stakeholder priorities.
Across all thematic areas, universities and research institutes recorded the highest number of expressions of interest, confirming their central role in driving innovation and knowledge exchange. Local and regional authorities also demonstrated substantial engagement, particularly in the fields of construction and demolition waste management and digital solutions. Other stakeholder groups, including NGOs, professional associations, ministries, and public bodies, participated in smaller numbers but showed interest across all thematic areas.
The results highlight the growing momentum behind circular economy initiatives in Greece and the strong commitment of stakeholders to collaborate on sustainable, innovative, and digitally enabled solutions. The high level of interest across all three thematic areas underscores the importance of fostering cross-sector collaboration to accelerate the transition towards a more circular and resource-efficient economy
