In early May, RIVCircular engaged with regional innovation actors in Innlandet through two complementary activities: an information stand at Europadagen Innlandet 2026 and the first regional RIVCircular infoday, hosted online by Innlandet County Council together with Innovation Norway.

Although RIVCircular did not have a dedicated session in the programme, the project was mentioned several times by speakers during the event. This helped highlight RIVCircular and the broader role of Regional Innovation Valleys in connecting regional actors to European innovation opportunities.
On 8 May, Innlandet County Council, together with Innovation Norway, hosted the first regional RIVCircular infoday as a webinar. The session gathered around 50 participants from across the regional innovation ecosystem, including SMEs, larger enterprises, innovation agencies, clusters, research organisations and public sector actors.
The webinar introduced the RIVCircular project and the opportunities available through the newly launched calls. Participants received an overview of the types of projects that may be funded, who can apply, key expectations and eligibility criteria, the timeline ahead, and where to find the application documents and further guidance that RIVCircular offers.
The session also opened for questions and dialogue with potential applicants and interested stakeholders. This provides a basis for further follow-up and more targeted engagement with actors across Innlandet in the coming months.
Together, the two activities marked an important step in making RIVCircular visible in Innlandet and mobilising regional actors to explore new European innovation opportunities through the project.
