As part of its commitment to strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem, RIVCircular has contributed to enhancing the capacities of organisations from the Madrid region by facilitating their participation in specialised training activities focused on European research and innovation. A total of 141 participants from organisations within the Madrid innovation ecosystem benefited from these activities.

The training programme addressed key topics including the financial and administrative management of Horizon Europe projects, access to European research and innovation funding opportunities, funding search strategies, and the application of artificial intelligence to innovation and European project management. These activities have equipped participants with practical knowledge and tools to improve their participation in European research and innovation programmes while supporting the transition towards a more competitive and circular economy.

The training activities were delivered through collaboration with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Madrid consortium, which coordinated the programme, and the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) Madrid Region. By building on the expertise and services already available through these European initiatives, RIVCircular maximised the impact of its capacity-building efforts, avoided duplication of activities and created added value through cooperation.

This complementary approach demonstrates RIVCircular’s commitment to connecting with existing regional initiatives, fostering knowledge exchange and contributing to a more integrated, resilient and collaborative innovation ecosystem in the Madrid region.
